How to choose screw chiller?

1.  The main control parameters of screw chiller are refrigeration performance coefficient, rated refrigeration capacity, input power and refrigerant type.

2.  The selection of water chiller should be considered according to the cooling load and use. For the refrigeration system with low load and long operating time, it is advisable to choose the multi-head piston compressor or screw compressor, which is easy to adjust and save energy.

3.  When selecting chiller, priority should be given to the unit with higher performance coefficient value. According to the data statistics, the annual operation time of general chiller under load accounts for less than 1/4 of the total operation time. In the total running time, the proportion of running time of 75%, 50% and 25% load is roughly 2.3%, 41.5%, 46.1% and 10.1%. Therefore, when choosing chiller, priority should be given to the model with relatively flat efficiency curve. At the same time, the adjustment range of chiller load should be considered in the design and selection. The multi-head screw chiller has good partial load performance and can be selected according to the actual situation.

4.  When selecting chiller, attention should be paid to the nominal working condition. The actual cooling capacity of chiller is related to the following factors:

a)  cold water outlet temperature and flow rate;

b)  Inlet temperature, flow rate and fouling coefficient of cooling water.

5.  When selecting the chiller, attention should be paid to the normal working range of the type of unit. The main current limit of the main motor is the current value of the shaft power under nominal working condition.

6.  In the design and selection, attention should be paid to: under the nominal flow rate, the outlet temperature of cold water should not exceed 15℃, and the outdoor dry bulb temperature of air cooling unit should not exceed 43℃. If you must exceed the above range, you should know whether the scope of the compressor is allowed and whether the power of the main motor is enough.
