2. Industrial chiller capacity 

Scroll type and screw chiller capacity common range is different, the former in 10-700kw, while the latter up to 2000kw, for lower load industrial production equipment, piston or scroll compressor can be used, more flexible and power saving. Water quality mainly affects the operation of condenser pipelines, maintenance status, water quality also determines the structure type of condenser, abundant water sources, areas with better water quality, water-cooled chillers can be given priority, on the contrary, for areas with higher water prices and lack of water, air-cooled chillers are preferred to be more energy-saving, and air-cooled hot water units are mostly used in the Yangtze River Basin and southern areas. The water-cooled unit has a lower condensing temperature than the air-cooled unit, the high pressure of the refrigeration system is lower, the compressor operating conditions are numbered, the coefficient of performance is high, and the disadvantages are higher than the air-cooled unit, and the additional cooling tower system is required.

4. Unit refrigerant selection 

At present, the use of R22 is still the mainstream of industrial production, considering the environmental protection requirements, there are 4 common alternatives to R22 refrigerators: R407c, R410a, R134a, etc., with the advantages of low condensing pressure and low exhaust temperature. 

5. The number of chillers used 

When choosing a chiller, the number of units should not be too much, generally 2-4 units, without considering the spare. A single unit can be selected for multi-head chillers. From the perspective of convenient maintenance management, try to choose the same type of unit; However, from the perspective of energy saving, if necessary, different models of units can be used to match the scheme.
