The condenser dissipates heat well. Otherwise, the high condensing temperature and corresponding condensing pressure will cause the high pressure protection device of the chiller to stop, or even lead to failure. The cold water in the evaporator should flow in circulation, otherwise it will stop because the cold water temperature is low, leading to the action of the cold water temperature protection device, or because the evaporation temperature and the corresponding evaporation pressure are too low, the low pressure protection device of the chiller will stop, or even cause the cold water in the evaporator to freeze and damage the equipment.

Starting and shutting down sequence of chiller

The starting sequence of the chiller is: (must be strictly observed) cooling tower fan on → cooling water pump on → cold water pump on → chiller on

The shutdown sequence of the chiller is: (must be strictly observed) Stop of the chiller → stop of the cooling tower fan → stop of the cooling water pump → stop of the cooling water pump

Note:

1. When shut down, the chiller should be shut down half an hour before work, and the cold water pump should be shut down after work, which is conducive to saving energy, avoiding fault shutdown and protecting the unit.

2. Before running the refrigeration cycle, it should be confirmed that the valve of the heating cycle pipeline has been closed.

Operation of water chiller

Preparation before starting

1) Confirm that the power supply of the unit and controller is connected.

2) Ensure that the cooling tower fan, cooling water pump and cooling water pump are started.

3) Confirm that the end fan coil units are powered on and started.

Start

1) Press the status key ON the keyboard, and then switch the ON/OFF toggle switch of the unit under the keyboard to the ON position.

2) The unit will make a self-test. After a few seconds, one compressor will start, and the other compressor will start when the load increases.

3) Once the unit is started, all operations are not automatic. The unit automatically starts and stops according to the change of cooling load (chilled water supply and return water temperature).

Normal operation

1) When the unit runs normally, the controller will monitor the oil pressure, motor current and other parameters of the system. Once there is any problem, the control system will automatically take corresponding measures to protect the unit and display the fault information on the unit screen. (Please refer to Installation, operation and Maintenance manual for details)

2) In every 24 hours of operation cycle, there should be a special person to permanently record the unit operating conditions at a fixed time interval.

stop the machine

1) As long as the unit under the keyboard ON/OFF toggle switch to the disconnected position, you can make the unit stop.

2) In order to prevent damage, do not cut off the power supply of the unit even when the unit is shut down.

Operation of fan and water pump

1. The cooling tower fan, cooling water pump and cold water pump are independently controlled. Before starting the machine, it should be confirmed that the power supply is normal, no reverse phase, no phase.

2. Before opening the water pump, make sure that the valves in the pipeline are opened.
