The working principle of the chiller is that the gas-phase refrigerant is compressed into high temperature and high pressure gas in the compressor, and then enters the condenser, the refrigerant is exothermic and condensed into liquid, and the high-pressure liquid refrigerant is removed by the dryer, and then reduced into low-pressure wet vapor through the expansion valve throttling, and then enters the evaporator to absorb heat and gasify into low-pressure gas, and the low-pressure gas enters the compressor to form a cycle.
It can be seen from the principle that the reasons affecting the freezer are related to the compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator, and in the refrigerant cycle, the oil-water separator is also a factor affecting the refrigeration effect.
Expansion valve failure:
If the inlet pressure is low when the chiller is running, the equipment stops, if the amount of refrigerant is sufficient, the expansion valve will be unable to enter the evaporator smoothly due to blockage or icing, and the inlet pressure will be low and the alarm shutdown will occur. By checking whether the dryer filter element has impurities, it can be judged whether it is an expansion valve failure. When the expansion valve is not overheated, it will also affect the abnormal reaction of the unit, such as adjusting the screw national small, causing less refrigerant to enter the evaporator, resulting in low pressure and poor refrigeration effect.
Oil separator failure:
The function of the oil separator is to separate the lubricating oil and refrigerant discharged together, and the top of the filter element is set up, if the filter element fails, it will lead to oil failure, through observation, you can determine whether the refrigerant has lubricating oil, and then determine whether it is caused by the fault.
Evaporator leakage blockage failure:
The evaporator is a heat exchange component, and the low-temperature chilled water enters the chilled water circulation, if the evaporator leaks and blockages, it will lead to insufficient flow of chilled water, resulting in low compressor inlet pressure and alarm shutdown.
Compressor failure:
For screw compressors, the compressor load adjustment is to adjust the working volume through a spool valve, and the spool moves to open and close the bypass hole. For the spool position, adjusting the zero position of the spool valve allows the compressor to return to normal.
There are many factors that cause the refrigeration unit not to refrigerate, through the inspection and analysis of the influencing factors such as the expansion valve, evaporator, oil separator and compressor body spool valve of the refrigeration unit, the cause of abnormal work of the refrigeration unit can be accurately judged, and then hidden dangers can be eliminated to ensure the safe operation of the device.
