The water-cooled screw chiller consists of 4 major components, the refrigerant circulation system, the oil circuit system, the cooling water circulation system and the chilled water circulation system. The safety inspection is also based on the safety management operation of the four major systems of the unit. Although technological progress has prompted the screw unit to gradually become intelligent and professional, especially the development of the unit control system with automatic fault detection function, the failure rate of the screw refrigeration unit has been greatly reduced. However, once the unit breaks down, the sensor or some other equipment control systems will generate an alarm, which will cause inconvenience to production and maintenance, so it is necessary to carry out daily checks to see if the system is normal.
The safety checklist for general chillers includes the following: the sequence of normal startup and shutdown of equipment; technical parameter values during normal operation of equipment; precautions for safe operation of equipment; procedures for handling and reporting emergencies; basic requirements for daily maintenance of equipment.
The following is a reference to a chemical company, the key points of the equipment appearance inspection by the operator of the water-cooled screw chiller system:
1. Confirm that there is no leakage in the system;
2. Check whether the action sequence is normal;
3. Check whether the working current of the compressor is normal;
4. Measure whether the working current of each compressor is normal;
5. Check whether the installation is correct, and confirm that the flow switch and the control cabinet are connected correctly;
6. Electric chilled water, cooling water pump and cooling tower fan, check the phase sequence of the motor;
7. Check whether the coil of the compressor capacity adjustment solenoid valve is locked tightly, and whether the capacity adjustment capillary is damaged;
8. Check whether the pressure gauge and thermometer on the water side are connected correctly, and whether the flow switch is normal;
9. Check whether the oil level in the compressor is normal. The normal compressor oil level is generally in the middle of the sight glass;
10. Everything in the system (angular valve at the outlet of the condenser, suction and exhaust valves of the compressor, etc.) is in the open state;
11. Check whether the high and low pressure settings of the pressure relay are normal (the high pressure is set to 1.8MPa, and the low pressure is set to 0.2MPa);
12. Check whether the cooling tower and expansion tank water replenishment device are unblocked, and whether the automatic exhaust valve can automatically exhaust;
13. Confirm whether there is abnormal noise in the unit; whether there is contact, collision or friction between the tubes and the tubes need to be protected and cleaned;
14. Check the frame and other metal shells if they are rusty, use coarse and fine sandpaper and cloth to wipe off the rust spots and apply anti-rust paint;
15. Adjust the water flow and check whether the water pressure drop through the evaporator and condenser meets the requirements for the normal operation of the unit, that is, the unit
The inlet and outlet pressures of chilled water and cooling water should be at least above 0.2 MPa; for refrigeration operation units, safety checklist is an effective means and process control measure.
