In the composition of industrial chillers, the compressor is the core component. Its operation requires refrigeration oil to undertake the functions of lubrication and sealing. Do you know the reason why the compressor refrigerator has deteriorated? How should the refrigeration oil be filled?
First look at the 4 reasons why the refrigeration oil deteriorates:
The first one is that the oil-water mixture is originally pure refrigeration oil, but water is mixed into the oil by chance, which will not only reduce the viscosity of the oil, reduce the lubricating performance of the compressor.
The second is that impurities mixed in are different from water mixed in engine oil. Casting sand and metal wear debris that fall off will also be mixed into the refrigeration system, which will lead to a decrease in the quality of the refrigerator oil, as well as inferior sealing gaskets and sealing rubber rings. It will also increase the aging and deterioration of the refrigeration oil.
The third is high temperature oxidation and low temperature oil oxidation at high temperature. When the exhaust temperature of the air compressor is high, not only the viscosity of the lubricating oil will decrease, which will affect the lubricating performance, but also may cause the oil to oxidize and deteriorate. Especially for refrigerated oil with poor thermal stability, in high temperature environment, free carbon will be decomposed around the valve plate, causing the valve plate to be closed tightly, thereby reducing the output coefficient of the compressor.
The fourth is that the oil number does not match. The refrigeration oil also has oil number divisions. Different refrigeration oils are suitable for different compressor working conditions, and should be selected according to the refrigeration oil provided by the manufacturer. Mixing different oil numbers will cause the quality of the refrigerator oil to decline. For example, if two kinds of anti-oxidation additives are mixed with refrigeration oil, the probability of chemical reaction will increase, and precipitation will be formed, which will not only seriously affect the lubricity of the unit, but also prevent the formation of oil film. This situation is the most embarrassing. For example, in order to save the cost of refrigeration oil, the two types of oil are mixed, and the result is counterproductive. Long-term operation will also lead to compressor series failures! The loss outweighs the gain.
The above reasons are the main causes of refrigeration oil deterioration. Prevention and treatment should be carried out according to the mechanism of occurrence, such as daily maintenance and inspection of chillers, and periodic inspection and replacement of oil separator devices to avoid oil failure. It will cause the unit to be mixed with water and affect the operation of the compressor.
The following are the methods for filling the refrigerator oil:
1. Close the suction stop valve, start the compressor for a few minutes, discharge the refrigerant in the crankcase into the condenser, and make the crankcase a vacuum. Close the exhaust stop valve immediately after stopping, and slowly rotate the bypass hole bolt of the exhaust stop valve to discharge the remaining air in the high-pressure chamber. Rotate the bolt of the bypass hole of the suction shut-off valve, and install the bevel tooth joint and copper pipe.
2. Prepare lubricating oil.
3. Press and hold the oil suction pipe with your finger, start the compressor to draw out the air in the crankcase. If the liquid hammer phenomenon is found, the compressor will continue to run for 2~3 minutes to make the crankcase in a vacuum state, and stop when the finger that presses the nozzle feels strong suction.
4. Immerse the mouth of the pipe pressed by your finger into the oil, let it go after immersion, and the oil will be sucked into the crankshaft pipe from the pipe
5. Observe the oil level indicator until the oil level reaches the oil level line
6. Remove the copper pipes and joints, tighten the bolts, start the compressor to suck the air from the crankcase, and tighten the exhaust.
7. Open the suction and exhaust cut-off valves to complete the refueling operation.
